Yeah, there are. Including "Protect yourself at all times".

It's not one fighters fault if another is a coward and turns his back, is it?

Yeah, none of the officials were even from the UK. Just you keep trying to belittle this fight because yet ANOTHER American heavyweight gets ****ing smashed. Its embarrassing what you are trying to do... ****ing embarrassing.

    Exactly.

If it was behind the head, it wasn't a knockdown. If it was behind the head, Ruiz should have had 5 minutes. If it wasn't behind the head, Haye shouldn't have had a point taken.

I think the referee was pretty confused. Has he refereed any big fights before?

I think it's more to do with Froch/Dirrell.

Nah, it's because of Haye's rabbit punches, but the thread starter has an axe to grind over the Froch/Dirrell fight. He's just talking nonsense, as usual.

To be fair that's not just a staple of British boxing in particular, but foreign boxing in general, although these bush league tactics are a pronounced part of British boxing. Americans are more likely to appear uncouth outside of the ring while Brits are uncouth in it. Absolutely deplorable rabbit-punching on that 2nd kd, the likes of which have not been seen since a prime Sam Peter.

Shame on the referee for actually crediting Haye w/ a kd after that. :-(

British boxing is rudimentary at best.

...What the hell are people talking about? Seriously! What the ****!

Haye won. Ruiz lost. I can't believe people are trying to talk like this because of Haye can't reverse time and stop his arms while they are in motion of man thats turning his head and lowering it. Americans, you are ****ing embarrassing yourselves with this level of ******ation!

Jesus, ****ing, Christ! Really. I am getting so angry, why are you being so blind and ****ing biased. Don't Ruiz have a ****ing career built around fighting dirty? Isn't B-Hop considered one of the cleverest and dirtiest fighters in the world? And he is American?

    Wow. Just wow.

If it is so rudimentary, why don't the US have a HW champ?

    Was Hayes Jab rudimentary?
    Was his movement rudimentary?
    Was his power rudimentary?
Was the ref from the UK?
Were any of the judges from the UK?

I did see a very brave, yet beaten US boxer having a compassionate decision taken by his corner by the waiving of a rudimentary towel.

Don't forget headbutting holyfield, fall on the floor pretending to slip when he is in trouble Direll, and countless others.
