it will not be allowed in the uk pubs i expect, as canal plus package show all the premiership games including the 3 o`clock kick offs on saturdays and sky would soon put a stop to any pub showing it. also there is a very week feed on the multivision and tps /canal plus/sports feeds , i think deliberatley as i was just about to watch west ham on sunday and got weak signal just as the french rugby ended and i missed the game..
Yep, theres loads of pubs that show Canal+ and the footie on Saturday afternoon, its a great money spinner for the landloards.
Is this Kosha though? I'm seriously thinking of travelling down from Yorkshire to take the missus for a "romantic weekend in London" and wangling in a visit to this place to watch the fight. That's how much I wanna see it. ****! I been looking forward to this fight since it was first announced back in about May. Sky and Setanta are f*cking sh*t for not showing this! I have two subscriptions for each channel (home and the girlfriends house) so that I never miss anything and then they go and do this. I mean... Sky go to the trouble of building up Haye and then drop him when he gets his shot? Doesn't make sense. I f*cking tell you now, all them subscriptions are getting cancelled and I'll just have the perfect excuse to go down the pub to watch my beloved Liverpool and whichever boxing these no mark mofos deem worthy of coverage. Can you tell I'm angry? Rant over.
And I ain't a newbie either. Dunky should remember me. We had a few verbal spars a while back, I just f*cked up my log-in info! How ya doing Dunky? Nuff respect. Good luck to ya boy Scotty on the comeback trail. Perhaps he could meet a come-backing Mikey Brodie (I hear he's coming back, too). Unfinished business there and my money would be on Mikey this time (although it rather misguidedly was last time, too!)
Setanta Sports have secured the rights to screen David Haye's fight with Jean-Marc Mormeck in Paris on Saturday. The cruiserweight battle will be live on the channel and also via Setanta by Broadband. Haye, forwarded as a possible future opponent for Enzo Maccarinelli, is aiming to land the WBC and WBA world titles from his French rival this weekend. A shot at the heavyweight title would not be out of the Londoner's reach if he manages to secure victory against Mormeck. The bout will be the first part of a huge boxing double header for Setanta Sports over the weekend as we are also screening Miguel Cotto's much-anticipated super-bout with Shane Mosley direct from the United States.
I stuck a big ****in' dish on the side of my house and get all that for nowt. I watched the Calzaghe fight live on Saturday night on the Polish sports channels. It's worth looking into chaps, especially for the wall to wall live Premiership footy on a Saturday.
Nice one Setanta...thank **** for that... http://sports.setanta.com/en/Sport/Home/?facets/sport-space/great-britain-locale/boxing/
Aye, I remember you riot, & yer Columbo avatar Welcome back. Thanks for the kind words bout Scotty, but if the truth be told I dont think hes coming back. It was nice seeing him make the news one last time & I milked it for all it was worth here, just to give me the feeling of wht it used to be like when I was in my prime here, talking about Scotty seven days a week In all seriousness though, I think Scotty pulled a media stunt just to show he wasnt two years away from death, as the NOTW reported the day before. Scotty was just sticking two fingers up at the newspapers IMO, but I live in hope that he really will kick the booze for good & come back stronger. After all, he was my favourite fighter. But Im also a realist, & its not the first time Scotty has announced he will be back & then its all went tits up. At the end of the day, you cant trust an alchoholic. They may be full of good intentions, but the drink rules them, not the other way around. & I should know. Cos I cant beat the booze myself. Its an ongoing struggle though, I havent thrown in the towel just yet.
Great move by Setanta. Capitalizing on the momentum. Unfortunately, Setanta North America plays by a different set of rules, but hopefully this fight will be broadcast in the United States.
