Marquez has a decent resume but it was always weak for an atg, I thoght he beat norwood and john but lost to pac the first 2 fights(extremely close) so arguably he never lost besides vs floyd at 147, I think he won the last fight, so that and the close fight vs past prime barrera add the most to his legacy.

 

Err....just because the judges gave the "W" to PacMan doesn't mean he really won. It's been known that judges have awarded the fight to the losing fighter as they did to Pac in his fights against JMM II and III. :deal

 

To me JMM is an awesome fighter and it's very hard to say anything bad about him. To me Pac is probably top 10 all time as is PBF. He may not be quite that high, but people that think he is nowhere near that high are blinkered by romantic feelings about the past and that being a fighter from history makes you somehow better (when all evidence would suggest that athletes improve through time)

JMM quite possibly beat Pac 3 times, but I don't think he is better, I just think it's a style thing. Norton arguable beat Ali 3 times
