This fight should get made on fair and realistic terms.

Canelo has the fan base and bigger most recognizable brand.

GGG is a huge presence with the hardcore and is making a name for himself.

$15 million flat is good, but the fact that GBP offers that much as a guarantee raises suspicion. How well it does is a big gamble. Neither guy speaks English so getting that "UFC crowd" will take some doing. Add that to the wave of "firestick" and CPUs and making the 500,000 mark looks like heaven.

Hopefully they just make the damn fight already this year. Boxing needs sacrifices to be made to appease the gods. They have not have a proper soul since Donaire and Broner in 2013.

Haye day was Hayes promotion so think about it like this if he sells half the 02 arena 10,000 tickets average price at £50 a ticket thats £5m then add the money Dave payed to screen it, £5.5m under card wouldn't of cost no more than 30k not sure how much the 02 is to rent say 200k and then security and equipment hire 20k thats over £5m.....if he only half sells it and he had 2 fights their in the space of a few months

I think that Jacobs was right for holding out. He is a champion and an exciting fighter, he deserves 40% although 35% is not bad. I also think that GGG is doing the right thing. He is also a champion and a fan favorite fighter. He deserves no less than 40%. I could understand if they were just off the rack fighters but that's not the case. Understand this, Oscar don't give a dam about GGG and he is offering him the least he can offer. He plans on promoting this fight to it's fullest and he is confident in his abilities as a promoter to make it a huge event and a financial success. GGG and his team is aware of that and are willing to take their chances. I don't blame them.

How can a guy that sells at the most 150k ppv buys with a Canadian household name command 15mill, it doesn't add up?

GGG is such a terrible draw that his promoters will lose money paying Danny Jacobs 3 million

If this does 1 mill then its all down to Canelo but lets be honest it will only do 500k,

500k x70 is 35mill, half to the tv companies and we are left with 17.5Mil

15 mill to GGG and 2.5mill to Canelo, on ppv maybe 5mill extra on gate if there lucky thats 7.5mill to Canelo

If it does 1mill which is a stretch, x $70bucks
is 70mill, half tv companies is 35 mill+ 5mill gate we are looking @ GGG 15 Canelo 25mill 40/60 split

    How the f is 15mill 10%, that's pure delusion

Still have to pay undercard which will take away international $$$$

It will probably do around a million, but you got the gist. 15 million is around 30 percent
