I think we'd have to say it was the combination of Resto/Panama Lewis/gloves with no padding in them that ruined Collins.

a tragedy. I personally believe Panama Lewis shouldn't even be allowed
in a gym ever again. He's banned from ringside, but he should have no

I think it's far fetched to say margarito finished cotto.when he came back won a belt beat margarito and gave mayweather the best boxer in the world a good fight.he lost to another top class fighter in Austin trout not really a crime and now has a fight with delvin Rodriguez so he has maintained his level of opposition.

Golota - Bowe...Bowe went from absolute stardom and instant name recognition to selling off his gloves at a Flea Market and never making another decent fight again, despite trying multiple times. Quite possibly the biggest ruin of all time.

AGREED!, this is a sport but its a combat sport, people get hurt.. there is no room for cheats. ban him for life and charge him with attempted murder

 

Even though Margarito beat cotto, that cotto fight is what ruined Margarito like many others on this board posted might happen just days after the fight. Even cotto left a little in the ring that day, just not as much as margarito did.
