Ricky Hatton - after his two devastating knockout losses and his retirement, watching him comeback and lose to Senchenko sucked because I was always a big fan. His lifestyle definitely did not help.

Juan Diaz - I was always a big fan of his, but too many ass kicking led him to retire and has not fought on TV since his comeback.

Kelly Pavlik - after that Hopkins schooling he was never the same and his alcohol problem just made things worse.

Roy Jones - definitely the worst fall from grace in the history of the sport. This man went from being compared next to Sugar Ray Robinson as fighter of the century, to fighting no name bums in Russia and not even being televised. I usually don't even know he fights now until after the fight is over.

Lucian Bute - his reputation and confidence destroyed in one fight.

Herbie Hide - lost his biggest fight (Bowe) that he could have won if he just had a little more confidence and saw how he hurt him. then got starched by Vitali too

Mike Tyson - who doesn't know the story

    Maravilla - became a cripple

jermaine taylor....i felt he had it in him to be an ATG....i still wonder what was the real story behind his steep decline and loss to kelly pavlik of all people.

gamboa...i felt he could have been truly great...but once again self-discipline was lacking.

seemed like taylor stopped training, stopped listening and became complacent. he had pavlik down...ready to go...then ran out of steam and got stoppped....horrible conditioning. he had froch down, completely outboxed him and ran outfof steam in the last round. i always wondered how come these problems didn't appear in the hopkins and winky wright fights, then all of a sudden he seemed to struggle with his stamina.

    Hamed.

The guy basically retired at 26. He could have done so much.

Apparently he had hand problems and just lost the will to train hard.

Ortiz. A lot of people hated on him after maidana roughed him up but I felt he had more to give, he came back with some impressive performances before beating Berto and I felt that was the start of great things.

Then he took the mayweather fight...

Juan Ma Lopez unreal puncher and great boxer ran into Salido and was never the same. Chad Dawson deciding to go down to 168 ruined his career too.

    This thread is sad :(

    Roy Jones.

From untouchable superman who tried not to hurt his opponents and refused to travel for fear of being robbed..... to journeyman, travelling the world and getting knocked out by fighters who would have been lucky to have been considered as sparring fodder in Jones' pomp.

    Shocking.

Not really a fall from grace. He had accomplished what he set out to do. He was on top for 5 years. He acquired 'lazy puncher syndrome' and started to get hit. And when he eventually lost he didn't have the bottle for the rematch (or at least the rematch never happened, for whatever reason).

Riddick Bowe became a favourite of mine after the first Holyfield fight, and I thought he was going to become the dominant heavyweight of the 90's. Then he refused to fight Lewis, and everything kinda went downhill from there.

Ive followed Danny Garcia's career from the start. I like his skills. I don't like that he refused Harrera a rematch and then had a shameful fight against a 135 pound nobody.
