    Ali wasn`t a tall heavyweight by todays standards, he wasn`t even that much taller than Hearns.

    Look at Frazier, Liston, Shavers..small compared to him

    Foreman also deserves a place in the list of tallest

    I think you're missing the point of the thread. It's not "Tallest boxers ever". At least i don't think the TS meant that.

    Tommy Hearns is an obvious shout and then Paul William's springs to mind. Henry Akinwande was like Wilder on stilts, and although he's listed as the same height he somehow looked even taller. Jess Willard was listed as 6'6 1/2" which back in the 1910's when he was fighting was freakish.
