    Unusual Choice: Naito vs Kameda

Could be the biggest fight in domestic history for Japan. Huge grudge match vs Naito, the established vet known for his four fights with Thai's Pong, and Kameda, the snotty young upstart that thwarts the Japanese codes of honor. A lot of Japanese hate this kid so its a generation war too. Interesting match and a huge test for Kameda. Also Naito already beat his brother. I think Naito must have fought his bro when his bro was like 18!! Daiki is his name.

You need to get out more. That fight has stinker written all over it. Kessler vs. Ward, on the other hand, should be very interesting.

Nobody's interested in Andy Lee vs. Affif Belghecham (undefeated since going the distance with French middleweight and international superstar-in-waiting Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam)? :huh

Or Finnish HW Robert Helenius, 9-0 (5) taking on Ukrainian contender Taras Bidenko 26-3 (12) in only his 10th professional outing?

Or hard-hitting Australian welterweight Oyewale Omotoso (who brutally retired the legendary Emanuel Augustus) taking his biggest step up against Korean banger Hwan Young Park?

I'm picking Yorgey over Angulo. According to Harry Joe his work rate, stamina, and defense have all improved under Jack Leow, but his basic style is completely intact. I think he's to quick and slick for Angulo, and if the improvements in other areas are for real, I'd make him the favorite. We'll have to see what happens when Angulo touches that chin.

I've been looking at that Yorgey v. Angulo fight as well. Yorgey looked good against Ronald Hearns. Angulo is a little slow and slick boxer could cause him problems.

Not to mention, we'll see what Jack Loew is really made of as a chief second. :nod

Yes we will. The comments I read in various interviews were quite encouraging. The general tenor of those comments was that Leow made no attempt to change Yorgey's style. It looks like the fight plan revolves around simply out boxing Angulo. In my opinion that seems like the right approach. We'll see come fight night.
