Heavy: Chris Byrd Not the most underrated probably but a fair few guys who came to mind who rarely get a fair crack of the whip in discussions.
Truly underrated, and I think the term "bleeder" is the reason for that, as well as the close decisions that he won. Both reasons are inconsequential as Galindez was a great champ.
I'd say Ahumada, despite coming off terribly in his series with Galindez, may be more underrated Mugged against Foster.
Junior middleweight goes much further back then either of those and has been graced with much more quality fighters. I nearly ****ed super middle off but funnily enough I did have a shortlist for cruiser: Burnett and Camel. Boudouani got in because Julio Cesar Vasquez gets more air time but he's also very underrated for a solid run. Byrd probably does get a fair bit of love considering what he achieved. So I'll take Mike Weaver instead.
Bantam- Joltin' Jeff Chandler (I have no doubt that Flea will be here soon to validate his worthiness with me!) MW- Gene Fullmer
the only times i saw boudouani fight he was getting two gifts vs guillermo jones. both of those decisions were disgusting don king specials. was glad jones moved up to cruiser and eventually won a belt. he deserved one long before that.
