Well he has bad stamina and can be outworked so I would never suspect Hops to be "on the juice". You brought up Foreman but let's be honest he got outworked before tapping Moorer with that 1-2. Hopkins adds fouling as a part of his arsenal. He'll headbutt even if he's leading. Holy is brought up for headbutts but he threw low too(Ruiz fights, Dokes).

so cheating before you encounter a problem is fine , but cheating after it is wrong. that is called preventive cheating. why not return to the original classic bareknuckle muay thai rules ?.. , not a lot of space for cheating there.

maybe it's because of his age , and would have been even worse without steroids ?

as i said , he had his punching power to rely on.
several fighters threw low more than this.
i saw at least 8 of holyfield's fights , and did not see him throwing low , i did not see the fights you mentioned , but all i say here that holyfield is definitely not special in the low blow department , neither is hopkins himself here (!) some fighters are more prone for throwing low due to their style and i do not mean foul style as you and another one here already admitted hopkins has and had since forever.

He relies perfectly well on fouling.

Against a fighter with a questionable chin. His power didn't help him against Holyfield. A fighter with a great chin at that time with great stamina would outwork him as shown in that fight.

Like some fighters are prone to headbutt even though it's not deliberate.(Usually swarmers like Frazier are prone to headbutts because they come in with their heads though they don't intentionally mean to headbutt)

the only thing here that convinced me here is the confession thing.

because if a fighter is used to the gloves his team present him with every time , why should he worry , i mean , this is what he is accustomed to , it is all he knows and ever felt in his professional fights.
how did he know they are putting asthma meds in the water bottle ?
and for some weird reason , fighters spit the water they are given in a fight anyway , and maybe he did have asthma like so many people , professional boxers included .

i meant steroids there , i will edit that post so there will be no misunderstandings , or worse , misuse of my post/reply

doesn't matter , all i said was that he could rely on his punching power , as was demonstrated in the moorer fight.

true , but hopkins was never a swarmer , right ?
less than holyfield being a swarmer.
so how do you explain his headbutt resume now ?

the asthma medication helps to open the lungs up... gives them that second wind so they don't breath as hard and makes them feel less fatigued and weathered. special mixtures.

he saw them take his gloves into the bathroom and he said where are you taking my gloves.

who mentioned him besides you now ?
he was dirty 2 times against santana , and once against joe walker and was rightfully been disqualified . but at least he was disqualified and has red L's next to his name forever because of it , and not green WUD12 instead of it , like your hero in your avatar.

    Ok.

Still didn't help him in the Holyfield fight because he was against a fighter with a great chin, not a Moorer chin. I see what you're saying though.

Because he used it as a tool I'm not against the fact that he headbutted, he did it on purpose everyone knows that. I wasn't talking about Hopkins at that time.
