Calzaghe made a beleiver out me last night, as I mentioned earlier, I was on the fence on this one fight, leaning toward Kessler, because youth, power, accuracy and boxing skills...well guess what. I was wrong on all 3 counts....Calzaghe will dance circles around Dawson...Abrahams, Pavlik will look like a fool trying to hit Joe C.....I will tell you what Kessler will beat those guys also....please...these two guys can box and last night it was a sweet scince seminar for those opf us that enjoy the science

You are a ****ing ******. Dawson dances circles around the slower, worse balanced Calzaghe. Dawson would beat the **** out of him.

I tend to agree Orish. He looked pretty special. Thing is though, Dawson is a good fighter, and you just don't KNOW how the boy will be at LHW until you see.

    So I cautiosly agree.

Calzaghe is an astonishingly well balanced fighter. Considering how much he (usually) uses small moves and how often he is ready to punch I find this idea that Dawson is better balanced a little silly.

Calzaghe will figured out the young and inesperience DAWSON IN 3 ROUNDS AND THEM HE WILL EXPLOID HIS DEFICIENCIES......Dawson is a good boxing but he is NOT ready to fight the crafty Calzaghe as of yet....and don;t forget Joe's 6'-1" frame will handle 175 with no problem..I am not tasking anything away from Dawson, but it is obvious that Joe C. is a very special boxer....

Uhhhh how is that possible when Chad Dawson has more hand speed and foot speed and better defense then Calzaghe? You make no sense at all.

LOL oh please. Chad is bigger, faster, better defense.. better everything then Calzaghe.. Hes only 24 and he already faced a top fighter in Adamek and Calzaghe is 35 and he's just starting to beat decent fighters.. So lets not talk about experience.

Dawson hasn't proven anything yet, i think he would be the biggest challenge to joe at 175 but he needs to beat woods and maybe somebody else before you say he can dominate joe. Anyone who says he is alot better than joe is a ******, dawson has fought worse guys than calzaghe and even as a joe fan i will not say his record is amazing.

No one could fairly discount Joe's chances against Dawson, but you can't fairly discount Dawson's chances against Calzaghe, either.

It's not wishful thinking to say Dawson would hold the advantages in reach, speed and power, and his footwork and defense also are excellent. He also is proven at 175, and has a weapon -- a natural right hand from a southpaw stance -- that may prove decisive against Calzaghe.

Would love to see it and find out either way.
