Prove Dawson is bigger, faster, has better defense than Calzaghe. He's taller than Calzaghe, but at 175lbs, they all weigh the same. Now prove the other 2 claims :hey

As for the rest of your **** - just because Calzaghe was beating world class fighters before you got into boxing doesn't mean they weren't world class :deal

Now you're being silly. You think JC would beat Dawson worse than Lacy? Really?

I can certainly see where you think Calzgahe would win, but beat up and ruin Dawson's career? No. The respective defenses between Dawson and Lacy are not even worth comparing. Surely you know that.

I'm a Calzaghe fan and love the way he fought last night, but you're asking an impossible question. No one can prove anything either way.

I happen to believe that he is faster and has better defense than Joe, and that his reflexes, quick feet and right hand hooks and counters will be a big problem for Calzaghe.

JC/CD is nothing at all like JC/MK.

Neither Calzaghe nor Dawson has experienced an opponent who simulates the other.

Exactly, thank you for pointing out the stupidity of making such claims.

I don't discount Dawson's chances vs JC at all, I just disagree with Brooklyn Mark's crap.

The issue is clear, Joe C. is a fantastic boxer of exceptional qualities....a true scientist of the science....Chad has lots to learn at this point, hell let;s not forget that Adamek drop the tight and inexperince Dawson....

I will even take this further that the two best fighter between 160 and 175 were fighting last night....and Joe C. made the solid Kessler look amateurish at times....Joe C. has an uncanny ability to step on the gas and past you buy , he did it last night a number of times

When I watch Dawson v. Adamek, the late rounds a saw a guy that didn;t have confidence on his ability to win that fight he was uptight even though he had the fight under control.......that's why he got drop...now Joe C. will mess with Chad mind, Joe can do that, he is understnd the science, and both being southpaws, the advatage has to go to the faster Joe C. and more experince Joe C.

What has Kessler done to make you put him over Dawson? I agree, he's very good and quite a bit better in my eyes than Pavlik, but he is fundamentally a stationary fighter. I'd love to see Kelly come up and fight Mikkel one day, as a reward for Kessler for getting beaten on a night when he'd have won against anyone else from 168-down.

I respect your opinion, but totally disagree.

Dawson got dropped because he started getting cocky, squaring up and dropping his hands, trying to be flashy and looking for a KO. He showed too much confidence (arrogance, bordering on disrespect) and almost learned the hard way.

And to me, he is faster than Calzaghe. Calzaghe's second and third punch are blazing, but the lead punch from Dawson -- assisted by the edge his reach and quicker feet -- will get to Joe before Joe's will get to him. And in a fight were it's unlikely a lot of combinations will be landed, I give the advantage to the guy who wins the first punch on a consistent basis.

Australian? thats even worse.. Who has Calzaghe beaten? Kessler and Lacy are his biggest wins.. That's not saying much for a guy that is 35. But you have no problems with him fighting Sakio Bika and Peter Manfredo right? You didnt say who have they faced to deserve a shot at Calzaghe.. WHy is that???
