good.. He's a real good fighter. But he isnt GREAT..HE HASnt DONE ANYTHING GREAT..he stayed in one division for years ..finally cleaning out the division but it wasnt to GREAT fighters by any means.. Yes, he schooled Lacy..so what? Lacy isnt a future HOF anyways and what did he accomlpish before fighting Joe, not much.
Joe is getting slack from the Americans because he claims he wanted Kelly, when Kelly wasnt a world champion and no signifcant wins NOW that Kelly has wiped out the division (with the exception of Abraham) stopping the RING MW champ... and then destroys his mando who happend to be in Joes camp( who said he would could give Kelly trouble..)

Hell Kelly wasnt even campaining at 168

NOW, Kelly , according to Joe is over hyped

thats a LAUGH.. guys,, there is no need for debate on this topic.. if you agree with Joe then you are biased, period.

over 20 defenses of his title over a decade undefeated and unifying a division is great. Moving up to LHW at 36 and winning the undisputed title in your opponents back yard is great, even if its against a shot great.

name me other fighters who have accomplished as much, but are not considered great.

Even Abrahams aside, your definition of "wiping out a division" is stretching it more than a little.

A truly stupid post, and to think you accuse another group of being biased in your original post. You are a either just in it to rev people up, or you are just simply a very unintelligent person.

Just look at some of Joe's fights on youtube when he was in his late 20s, early thirties. Completely pedestrian champ beating up on weak comp. Decent power but little of the handspeed we see today. He's actually peaked in the last few years.

So Im guessing that you all agree that Joe is right about Pavlik being over hyped?

I got more respect for hops for fighting the Glen Johnsons and RJJ's early in his career and also taking on the JT'S and Pavliks like he is doing now..

Joe is more OVER HYPED then Pavlik. :deal

Pavlik has fought two top fighters in his division, and that's if you count club fighter Miranda. He beat Taylor primarily on stamina last fight: Taylor runs out of gas. Other than that, he was being outboxed. Not saying Calzaghe has fought steller competition the whole way, but let's keep things in perspective.
