I didn't disagree with you about Calzaghe not wanting a peice of Pavlik, just that Pavlik's resume is far more questionable than Calzaghe's- at this point; he's young. Do not be surprised if old man Hopkins schools Pavlik, and even hurts him.

Good luck to Pavlik, he seems a decent bloke and he's had a couple of good wins but this American desperation to turn him into a boxing superstar because they have no good heavyweights is laughable.

The SMW division is far, far deeper than MW. Just because MW has two awesome champs doesn't mean it is strong. Guys who barely crack the top 10 at SMW would give the great Edison Miranda you speak of a world of trouble.
