Journalism doesn't really cut it when you get to a certian level of interest (obsession) in the fights, but this is worth reading just for the very good writing I thought. I read it on the train/plane and it was perfect for that sort of thing, very cool.

I think I remember something like that as well.

I actually picked it up for two quid in a second hand bookshop. Had loads of travelling to do. Three days later it was done.

I got to disagree with you. I thought there was very, very little there that was new or exciting. I would have said that it was pretty pedestrian for anyone whose read widely about Ali and Liston. That's obviously not true as you clearly enjoyed it - or maybe you haven't read it? If not, skip it.
