    I remember that episode of Samford and Son.

    I think he had his own TV sitcom in the 1990s that got canceled after one season. Or maybe halfway through a season. ABC, I believe.

    Redd Foxx was a big boxing guy. He managed a few fighters, among them Gonzalo Montellano, a lightweight who lost a close decision to Sean O'Grady in his biggest test.
