    :rofl

14" is hard to believe..it is a bit of a "stretch". :yep

This is known because police found him exposed in his Las Vegas apparent.

    :yep

just kidding...i don't think so...the most important factor about him is that 84" reach - which was real no doubt.

Hell, I'm not impressed by that in the least. My waist is at least 48 inches, and I'm under 5'6"!

    Sincerely,

I thought he was 6'0 or 6'0 1/2 actually, and in his fights it looks like that also.

Liston's presence and power was what made him "huge" in the eyes of the public. He had tremendous punching power, and he carried himself in an intimidating manner. Ask yourself this question: if you stepped into the ring would you rather be looking across at Liston or Jameel McCline? It's the same for Tyson. The guy was 5'10'' and 216 lbs. That's pretty damned small for a modern heavyweight, but people always talk about how powerful and big he was because he had so much power and tried to intimidate his opponents.

Liston also liked to put padding under his robe, which made him look bigger.

I think Liston is 6', maybe marginally taller. Ali is 6'3'', and if Lison was truly 6'1.5'' he wouldn't have looked that small against Muhammad.

Liston was listed as being 6 foot even in his Missouri Penitentiary file. It's possible that he was 6'1" with his boxing shoes on.Maybe there was less than 1" between Frazier and Liston.

I would dispute Ali being 6'3". Both Larry Holmes and George Foreman were listed as 6'3" in their primes, and both of them were taller than Ali. I think Ali was 6'2"; Liston 6'0.

Liston was a good 10lbs heavier than Louis anyday. Liston was around 212-215.:good

    -----------------LISTON----------------------LEWIS

    Height:----------6'1"....................................6'5"
    Weight:---------214....................................245
    Reach-----------84.....................................84
    Chest normal:---44......................................44
    Waist:----------33......................................34
    Biceps:---------16.5....................................17
    Neck:-----------17.5...................................18.5
    Wrist:-----------8.5....................................8
    Calf:------------16.....................................18
    Ankle:-----------12.....................................11
    Thigh:-----------25.5..................................26
    Fist:-------------15....................................12
    Forearm:---------14.5..................................15

As you can see from the comparison, Liston compares very well with a modern super heavyweight like Lewis. The big difference is in the height of the two men (which would contribute quite a lot to the weight difference) but if you really look at each measurement in isolation, there isn't that much between them.

Just because you say it? :finger5

You wanna tell me that he would survive against a Klitschko,Tua,Tyson,Peter etc? The top crop would decapitate Liston.
