    yes but i dont believe that was floyds best performances, i know he lost twice to him but his performance in those fights was rubbish compared to what he was usualy capable of

    true he was not at his peak as well but he still went on to give ali and a good battle for 7 rounds

    and ali was on fire at that point in his career

    If ingemar could put a beating on patterson. Sony most definetly would have. Patterson had a bad chin and Liston had a big punch

    Patterson was scared stiff of Liston. Can't say I blame him, but Floyd would be doomed every time they fought.

    You can't exactly say he was scared of Liston if he agreed to get in the ring with the guy twice.

    Liston by Knockout. This fight happened twice, and because of the result in both, I don't see any reason to try to reason out a situation where Patterson could do better. Sure, he conceivably could have gone more rounds on another day....
