I can't see Ezzard standing up to Liston's shots.

His technical skills and the fact that his chin, while probably his biggest weakness, was pretty solid allows him to go maybe 8 rounds, but Liston will undoubtably land flush at some point, and Charles would not take that power well IMO.

Charles is a master boxer, but Listons long jab and reach can help negate that. Liston would eventually catch him and finish him off somewhere in the fight.

I can picture Liston stopping him...But I dont know.

I have often questioned Liston's effectiveness as a the fight wears on. Charles, prime Charles anyway, on the other hand doesnt have this question mark. I have been guilty of underrating Liston in the past though, I have looked back and realised this over time.

Yeah. I'll take Liston here as well. Just better at the weight with more power. I feel Charles' skillset makes for a very competitive fight and he might well get the better of Liston during the early part of the fight. I reckon that Liston's power punches are too much for Charles who was clearly at his peak at light-heavyweight.

    Late stoppage or points.
