Liston early ko. Marciano is way to small to do anything with Liston. Marciano's giving up 16 inches in reach alone. not to mention weight, and height.

    Two of my favorite fighters.
    I take Liston.
Moore almost knocked Marciano out. Liston hit several times harder than Moore did.
Rocky would have to repeatedly get by Liston's jab to work inside. I don't believe he could do it.
    Liston in a mid-round stoppage.

Ignore him. I can appreciate an imaginative troll, but he lacks all intelligence or knowledge of the sport. His simpleton flailings are not even entertaining.

When you put in Liston's enormous size advantage, a Rocky win is impossible. not to mention the only thing Rocky had over Liston was endurance and that won't be a factor here because this isn't going past the early rounds. But if it did by some miracle, it still won't be a factor because Liston had enough endurance. Liston could go the distance.

Liston lacks the heart to beat Marciano. Liston submits before the 8th round.

You don't win a fight on heart alone(something some posters have difficulty comprehending) if that is true, shouldn't frazier have beaten foreman? how bout holmes beating tyson? how about patterson beating Liston?

Liston looks great winning but lacks competative championship wins. As simplistic as it sounds, Sonny must be the only champion never win a championship fight where he got hit back. That's not saying he couldn't, it's just how it panned out. Marciano may have a reach and weight disadvantage but not much else.
