No, no, no. Why do you keep talking this nonsense? Liston got hit, and it makes absolutely no difference that a belt was not on the line when he did. What kind of criteria is this? You just make up criteria to give the guy a longer line. It is nonsense, and it is unnecessary and it makes no sense. Like Charley Burley is less of a threat h2h because he never got hit in a title fight  Literally laughable.

He has the single most pronounced style advantage in boxing. Bar none. But you ignore this - outright deny it - in favour of criteria based upon who got hit more in title fights. Unbelievable dishonesty.

They trade punches in the opening round and knock each other down. Marciano gets up, perhaps shaky perhpas not, but Liston waits and gets up at 10, officially counted out. The debate continues.

Choklab seems to change his story alot, in one thread he stated liston's huge size advantage was actually a disadvantage.

Boston turned down the rescheduled fight because it found that Inter-Continental Promotions was promoting the fight without a Massachusetts license.
Maine immediately stepped forward and accepted the fight.
I can't find that it was ever offered to New York.

It's f*cking crazy. He's stated that his reach advantage is really a disadvantage too.

It makes no sense. Rocky is a great fighter. Make up weird things to enhance his chances is just flat out freaky.

I believe Liston quit in both the Clay and Ali fights, but the idea of a smaller lighter guy standing in front of him slugging it out would be like manna from heaven to him.

    Loston KO early.

He claims he likes Liston, though everyone knows he is lying. He even said anyone great beats Liston.

I would imagine Liston's jab would do a number on Marciano's face. I'd have to pick Liston with a fair amount of confidence.

I agree that because of Ali's and Walcott's stupidity, we'll never know how the fight was supposed to have unfolded.

I believe Liston intended to lose the fight because of his behavior after the fight.
He had been robbed, by Walcott, yet never uttered a word of complaint. Neither did anyone in his entourage.

Style advantage is something I put less stock into than others because there are exceptions to the rule. Satterfeild vs Valdes for example. Very rare I know. But to acknowledge the rare examples is not dishonest.

Liston got hit in other fights but his championship experience is limited to two wins he had his own way and the ALi fights. Machen was a good win. Foley was a good win and Harris was a good win. But that is it. I never said Liston was bad or weak, I have a great deal of sympathy for him. I enjoyed the Williams fights too.

Sonny would be a huge problem for Rocky but I am sure Sonny would also find Rocky an awkward nightmare too.

Rocky has a great chance. A better chance than some might think.

Traditionally, trolls attack Marciano. A pro Marciano troll,l trolling the anti Marciano trolls, is quite an innovation!

No, but you are completely ignoring it. What you describe above is not what you are doing. You completely ignore it, try to pretend it doesn't exist, most recently in this thread:

CHAMPIONSHIP EXPERIENCE IS NOT THAT IMPORTANT. And it is DEFINITELY less important than style advantage!! Jesus Christ, Marciano has **** all Championship experience compared to Ezzard Charles.

Honestly, it's like posting in the twilight zone.
