, Sonny KO 6, what was funny was before the 1st Holyfield fight Tyson had all of these leeches that probably didn't even have real jobs, with gold teeth, 10 lb gold chains on, hanging around him, but when the fight was over all of those clowns scattered like the ****roaches they are..

Tyson by KO. Liston could be hurt and dropped, and was koed by light punching Ali. Liston is way overrated.

I believe it would be the other way around. Liston was too slow to land anything devastating on Tyson, (and it needs to be devastating to get mike out early) he would also struggle establishing his jab, and if he did land his jab (which he would have lots of trouble doing so) he lacked the speed to follow up on it. Tyson defencively would be able to evade anything dangerous liston throws at him, especially within the four round mark. Tyson would bulldoze liston, making him miss, and definitely making him pay. I dont think listons defence was good enough to negate the attack of tyson whereas tyson would be able to negate listons jab. the left hook would be the deciding factor, tyson lands one almost every time liston misses. Sonnys reach was extraordinary, giving him such an effective jab and couple that with his timing you'd think tyson would be in trouble. However with tysons ability to slip punches i believe he would do so, and do it effectively landing the left hook almost at will to the head and body of liston, the fight would end shortly after the 10th flush uppercut tyson lands on listons chin. Ultimately tyson has the better defence, and the better offence. Tyson would land first, land more often and land the more significant strikes, leading to a KO victory.

aha not 9 because liston has a decent chin. And not 11 because tyson has decent power. Ha jokes aside though, tyson is superior in almost every way

I have to ask. Have you actually seen any Liston fights apart from the Patterson, and Clay / Ali fights?

You might like to watch this.

Liston was a predictable puncher. Tyson would overwhelm him. KO win for Mike.

Remember, Liston was the same basic size as Chris Byrd.

LOL, fear factor.....Super Bully **** in his pants not once but twice against a green unknown light punching Clay.....

Tyson would go thru Listons resume, if we take Clay out of the equation, like a hot knife thru butter, no question and he would not need re matches or had his jaw broken in the process.

Cleveland Williams is a C level journey man, he would be lucky to see the second round against Tyson, Fact.

Sonny " I feast on skinny lhwts and quit twice when I met a fighter with skills/size" is the most hysterical overrated fighter on this board.

Chin ? Even when totally washed up, drugged, fat, old and untrained was NEVER laid out cold like Liston was when they were in similar positions in live, another good damn fact and the fighters Tyson faced at that stage of his career cracked significantly harder than the cream puff who laid out Sonny.

    This. Bad for Sonny.
Iron Mike wins 8-9/10 for me by KO. The other 1-2 Sonny weathers the storm and KO's a gassed Tyson.
