Roy fell off because he should have never fought again after the Ruiz fight. He would have sealed his legacy water tight, but noooo...had to go back to 175 and get his brain scrambled. When a fighter moves up he should never lookl back.

Roy was out of this world,the day he lost to Tarver I was so disappointed.The guy had the power,the speed,movement,his reflexes were second to non.His biggest mistake was going down in weight after Ruiz.If he had stayed as a heavyweight and choosing his fights well he could still be great.
roy and his opponent both has high test levels from what i remember. basically steroids.. but who cares? most professional fighters take steroids wasn't it against richard hall? roy showed flashes of his greatness against jeff lacy, not that he's the best opponent. but it's the way he beat him.
Roy did what most fighters do...he fought too damn long. Manny Steward said that the L's RJJ accumulated after 2004 will be forgotten about as the years accumulate.
It is amazing roy was able to last as long as he did actually. Tyson relied on his speed and movement too and he didnt last long. Perhaps it was rjj's PEDs that kept him in the game as logn as it did.
