why do people still think dirrel is talented in comparison to ward, in ward your talking about a world class boxer/world champion, in dirrel your talking about a world class athlete and a slightly above average fighter. Dirrell lacks killer instinct and mental toughness, he pales in comparison to ward, dirrell had a terrible time with froch, whom essentially is a tough guy not a boxer, ward would have dismantled froch, to a tko due to embarrasment, dirrel is so overrated who has he even beaten of note.

 

Dirrell beat Froch from pillar to post on the championship rounds. Did you even see the fight? How does smeone with 18 professional fights and never been 12 rounds not have mental toughness when he goes to a champions city and nearly KO him.

Froch looked as fresh as a daisy at the end of his fight with Dirrell. If you mean Dirrell edged the last three rounds by running less than the previous nine round, holding less than the previous four or five round and slapping a bit more than the previous nine rounds then yes, you're right, the man is a steely-eyed warrior.
