Aside from Viloria and Gonzalez, people we've mentioned, I don't believe there's one champion from any of our divisions who has a fight scheduled. Sadly.

The full Tomas Rojas/Suriyan Sor Rungvisai fight has been posted, unbroken. We're not supposed to post full fight vids, I guess, but it's up there. Use Google for videos over 20+ minutes to find it and it pops right up. Good fight.

I am SO pumped about Segura vs. Viloria. I've got a Segura mid round stoppage, specifically the 5th. Segura is my #7 P4P, and I don't feel it is unjustified or warranted only on my personal liking of him.

As for Khan and Gonzalez P4P, I have Khan literally two places ahead of him, I think it's 19 and 21. As much as I love Romans' resume and his potential, I do think he is sometimes slightly overrated by guys who mention him as P4P #8-15.

As for "little men" who've had great years, Wonjongkam is having another tremendous year. The Edgar Sosa win was a very good one, underrated. Also, Rungvisai is having a great year with his impressive wins over Tomas and Nobuhiro.

Here's hoping Calderon looks A LOT better than he did last go around, and let us see how an Ivan Calderon vs. Moises Fuentes fight goes.

    Just a heads-up.

According to Boxrec, King Pong has a new fight provisionally scheduled for the 23rd December, against Hirofumi Mukai (5-1-0). It looks like a Thai-based stay-busy job, but boxrec says the WBC may be on the line pending permission. It's fairly recent and wasn't there a couple of days ago.

Hardest-working man in boxing, right there (BE and IB excepted) ...

I saw it a couple days ago as well. Pong will make it 7-0 in the calendar year.

Just boxrec'd Mukai's resume and DAMN is it soft. Even by Pong's stay-busy standards, I'm surprised the WBC is sanctioning this. Wait a minute... No I'm not.

I don't care that Pong takes stay busy fights like this. No problem there. But, to sanction this as a title fight is disgraceful. I hope this is a mistake on the part of boxrec and it isn't being sanctioned.

Well, Mukai is ranked the #15 contender in the WBC was actually ranked at #10 before he lost to Rocky Fuentes. Mukai got this fairly high ranking based on his dominating win against Sonny Boy Jaro, who I still can't believe was/and still is world ranked after his lost to Segura.

Anybody who is 5-1, coming off a loss with no knockouts shouldn't be challenging for the flyweight title of the world, imo. I'm not blaming Pong because if the WBC allows it, it's fair game, I guess. But I think it's crap for them to sanction it.

It would've been perfect if they gave Rocky Fuentes a shot, but noooooo, he's too risky, they had to get the guy he already beat :patsch

Yeah, and Koki and Daiki Kameda both have title fights on the seventh. Kirk pickers, don't forget. Koki defends his, Daiki challenges for the WBA Super Flyweight title, trying to get the second weight class title. Both fights will be in the Prefectural Gymnasium, in Osaka, Japan.
