I give Melindo a pretty good chance in beating Marquez, if of course he fights to the best of his ability :yep

I'd really, really like that. An all-Thai unification, and it's a rematch too! :good

Exactly...so many reasons to like that fight. Revenge for Tepparith, Unification, Ring Magazine's #2 and #7 fighters meeting...and both guys are stupidly under-rated and ultra-talented

Since Segura, the #1 contender to Viloria's title, lost, looks like the then #2 will be the new #1 contender, and that is.......Froilan Saludar!

    http://philboxing.com/news/story-64102.html SALUDAR CALLS OUT VILORIA

I wonder if Viloria will step up to this challenge if he can't get a unification fight. I remember the last time he had a Filipino mandatory at 108, Juanito Rubillar, Viloria didn't want to fight him because he was Filipino.

    From the WBC convention.

Super Flyweight champion Suriyan Sor Rungvisai: May make a voluntary defense first then must face Silvester Lopez. #4 ranked former straw weight champion Oleydong Sith Samerchai, looks to make an eliminator against #2 Carlos Cuadres or #3 Yota Sato.

Flyweight champion Pongsaklek Wongjongkam: will make a voluntary defense on December 23 then his mandatory on March 23 against Toshuyuki Igarashi.

Light Flyweight champion Adrian Hernandez: Will make a voluntary defense on December 23 then his mandatory against former champion Gilberto Keb Baas by April.

Straw Weight champion Kazuto Ioka: is in voluntary mode until August when he’ll face the winner of Ganigan Lopez and Denver Cuello (Singwancha) eliminator.

There has been speculation about Ioka moving up in weight and vacating his title. Gonzalez vs. Ioka anyone?
