Little over 1 month till superfight and not much media

Mayweather and Pac need to do a better job promoting this fight.

Perhaps like a (clearly) staged brawl like between Rahman and Lewis. That was obviously fake Rahman over-powering Lewis and slamming him through a table. But that gained a lot of attention for the fight.

They shot a commercial together on March 11th... where the F is it?

What are you talking about? There are commercials for it on nearly every channel on television.

Literally the entire boxing media has been inundated with talk about it since it was announced, plus more of the mainstream sports media than any fight in recent memory.

 

I have yet to see a single commercial.

there was much more interest in their not fighting drama than there is now that they are. people are burned out. in other words (except for their more fanatical fans) they can go to hell until a few days before May 2. the media will still inundate us about it ad nauseum however.

 

Floyd should say he isnt not ever seen an Asian that could fight. And that no Asian would ever beat him ala like Hopkins said to Calzaghe. So he could troll the billions of Asian population into buying the fight to hope for him to lose.

@ TVG , a Horse Racing Channel, sometimes they talk about Pacquiao/Floyd's fight.

 

NPR had two stories on the fight last week and it hardly ever covers boxing.

 

you'd think a Mayweather would've already said it then. they specialize in promoting and otherwise general stupidity.

 

The fights sells itself and continues to 'trend' on Facebook where many live a double life. It is not really in Mayweather's nature and certainly not in Manny's to exhibit animosity beforehand. In fact, those who know this would surely look upon any publicised exchanges as pantomime. Nothing is going to stop this fight breaking records.
