You still are... fanboy. Because in all likelihood, you thought it would be an early blowout and easy win, most on here did. I predicted Barrios could be a banana peel, and without Tank's power carrying up, which no one was sure if it was, Barrios might've been.

So was Barrios a hell of a lot better than people thought he was? Yes. Did he do a hell of a lot better than people thought he would? Yes. So my assessment was off, but my suspicions were accurate.

Whereas all of the Easy Win Yo! Guys... you were dead wrong.

I was wrong I thought Barrios might be too strong & too long (pause)
For lil tank moving up in weight.

I thought tank could do it but wasn’t sure he would, especially past the 9th.

    super impressive victory for Tank.
He is for Real. I won’t bet against him again.

Tank is a good fighter. Explosive and good power, but his skills need improvement.

He's not slick in the traditional sense, he's just fast and heavy-handed. He's not that hard to hit clean and an elite fighter will find his chin.

He need to stop being lazy and go back to 135. He doesn't belong at 140. Barrios just a good fighter, not elite and I expected him to beat Barrios.

Guys like Taylor, Rameriz and Prograis would all give him more than he can handle. At 135, at least he's be competitive with the top guys.

little tank is that one punch stopping power and a equalizer in any fight. Put some respect on that kind of power.

    Lol.

So against Gamboa who was thirty eight years old and on one leg from round two where was this power? One punch stopping power is an over simplification.

He hits hard but if he had the power you believe he does he could have taken care of Gamboa by the sixth or a blown up faded 126 pounder in Santa Cruz before the sixth as well.

Tanks last three fights show he can break guys he cherry picked down over time, nothing more.

I completely forgot about the controversy regarding the WBA downgrading the real champion Machado in order to free that belt up for Twink. That's was some absolute stinking snakery and corruption of the highest order

This post by @gollumsluvslave jogged my memory about it

    Check this thread about it

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...hado-and-wba-corruption.606231/#post-19151375

And then they paired Twink up with a shot to smithereens 38 y/o Gamboa for the vacant regular title at 135 in order to fool the casuals that Twink was a two-weight champ. WTF?!

He'll weigh the same walking around. He just does not have to cut an extra 5lbs to 10lbs anymore is all.
