Jason "The American Boy" Litzau 21-1 (18 KO) 1 Loss by KO (Hernandez) Career highlight: Victim of highlight reel KO during his debut on BAD Emmanuel Lucero 23-4 (14 KO) 3 Losses by KO (Juarez, Pacquiao, Ponce de Leon) Career highlight: WBC Continnental Americas Super Bantamn Weight Champion
It's never a sure bet with Litzau seeing what Hernandez did to him, but I will pick him to win this fight.
On the surface this looks like a setup of Litzau, but I'm taking Lucero on this one. He's faced way better opposition; Litzau has been in with, and dropped by bums.
Litzau wins. He does have SOME measure of talent, he's just a ******, sticking his chin out there all the time and doing the Mexican hat dance while in the ring. One of these years he'll learn what he needs to do in order to not get tagged.
I prefer his lack of defense; if all goes well, he'll build his name back-up and get KTFO'd by another no-hopper on HBO or Showtime.
Litzau wins this. Lucero has psychological problem, he was never the same after he got Kayoed by Pacman.
Baldo isn't feather fisted, he's just slow as hell and a fighter with Zab's talent should be able to roll with his slow ass punches.
Litzau should win this one pretty handily, unless his cockiness gets the best of him...which is entirely possible. I think Litzau's going to be on the giving end of the highlight reel KO this time around. All those wanting to see him exposed, winning this fight will probably get him a fight with a top 15 opponent next. That's when you'll see him either really get KO'd or adapt to world class opposition.
If Lucero gets a decent shot in on that glass jaw of Litzau's, it'll be all over. Not like he hasn't been starched by this kind of opponent before!!!
Just thought I'd bump this up since Litzau's getting knocked for fighting an easy fight, yet lost the vote on who'd win prior to it.
