I am a major Litzau fan -- I don't care if he wins or loses but I believe he's an elite figher. Even in his knock out loss he was crushing his opponent. His chin is not the best but it's not even really his chin so much as his defense in general. His offense is special though and I would make him the favorite against all but 2 or 3 fighters from 122-126.

I've met the guy, he's very uneducated -- I wouldn't be suprised if he is illiterate. That said, he's a very good guy who's had far worse things happen to him than a wife being diagnosed with cancer...

 

Are you from the St Paul/Minneapolis area? I also agree that people are being way too hard on Litzau,,,but he is not an elite fighter by any means. Very good and better than people give him credit for, but not elite.

 

Elite Fighter? I like his charisma, shows some boxing skill..but he's not elite.

I think he has TONS of boxing skill,,,but he is simply an idiot and doesn't have ring smarts. I have probably seen him as much or more than most people on this forum and trust me; he's got the talent. Incredible speed, power, agility, stamina, throws silky smooth combos with ease. His downfalls are chin (not china, but not iron either), leaky defense (which can be fixed yet), and ring smarts. Plus he would rather brawl it out even if he is winning 11-0 in the 12th round and would still go for broke (once again, he's not the smartest guy). If he can get his ring smarts under control and seal up that defense even a little bit we will see A LOT more from him. Once again, im not saying he's elite; but he is capable of much more than people give him credit for on this forum imo. :bbb

 

He should have took the money and be one of Pac's sparring partners when Pac fought Morales. Might have made him a less chinnier guy. Definitely would have got Jason more Publicity..
