I'm not turning a blind eye to the obvious tensions that have existed since the birth of the sport. My issue starts and ends with what I can influence first and that's what goes on in here on these boards....the struggle for equality will never end I can only tell my children to live and treat others fairly and judge them based on their character and deeds.

A true fan of the sweet science recognizes the ability and skill both Kovalev and Ward bring and steer away from generalizing their styles and labeling them based on their heritage.

It is reported everytime Ward blows off a promotional event. Steve Kim and Michael Montero have reported on numerous occasions how he blew off planned promotional events, as in never showed up. Sergey at least made an appearance, Blowing off the Network that is airing your fight like Ward did for the Face-off is a hell of a lot more disrespectful & unacceptable then leaving a press conference early. It just is, Kovalev & Ward were suppose to do a media luncheon & Q&A session with former greats of the ring like Hagler, Duran etc along with all the media. Well Sergey was there, but guess who didn't feel like having the common courtesy to even bother...That's right! Andre ****ing Ward. Just stop.

That's because Roc Nation insisted on doing the promotion for the event themselves and Main Events/Kathy Duva got fed up with dealing with Roc Nations stupid **** and just let them do it. She also said when Sergey wins this time, they are (Main Events) is going to make it just as hard or harder to get the rematch for Ward as he and Roc Nation did for them.

 

It's clear as day that Ward has gotten into the TOMATO KAN Krusher's head. That's why he left the press conference. He wanted no parts of the face off..
