    Joyce must have the hardest chin in boxing

    Round 1: Hammer 10-9

    Great start from Hammer. Joyce way too sloppy and hasn’t started this fight off well.

    For a 19 stone heavyweight, Joyce is solid.

    Must be soul destroying hitting Joyce with 4-5 of your best flush punches and he still moves forward.

    Broke the heart of DDD and Hammer looking like he is going the same way.

    Round 1: Hammer 10-9
    Round 2: Joyce 10-9
    19-19

    This is being fought at a high pace. Joyce is taking way too many shots, but had a lot more success during this round.

    Joe Joyce.

    Chin = 10/10
    Defence = 0/10

    Round 1: Hammer 10-9
    Round 2: Joyce 10-9
    Round 3: Joyce 10-8
    29-27 Joyce

    Best round of the night so far for Joyce. He has huge success to the body but Hammer takes the shots well, who is clearly feeling the pace.

    Joyce dropped Hammer towards the end of the round with a left hook that looked to be behind the head of Hammer but the bell saved him.

    The stoppage is imminent. Remember Hammer quit after 5 rounds against Hughie Fury.

    Fair play to Hammer as he at least had a go - Joyce simply too tough, too strong and he marches on.

    Round 1: Hammer 10-9
    Round 2: Joyce 10-9
    Round 3: Joyce 10-8
    Round 4: Joyce TKO

    Joyce hurt Hammer to the body who fell to the canvas. Joyce has great punch selection and eventually stops Hammer after dropping him two more times.

    This fight didn’t show us too much about Joyce. We know he has great punch selection, similar to Usyk, but his defence is awful.

    He is 36 and as he gets older his defence will only get weaker. His reflexes will slow down and I think any top heavyweight will stop him, regardless of the quality of his chin.

    Joyce's chin is iron.

    Wilder vs Joyce would be a great fight.

    Joyce is pretty basic but he's an athlete with a titanium chin - didn't even break sweat there. What happened to the stiff jab that punished Dubois though?

    Prepared to take and give a good shot - apart from Wilder's power, the Fury and Usyk movement, the rest would not fare much better than Hammer.

    Imagine Tony Dosh PPV in round 3 onwards against Joyce after landing his Sunday best that knocked out puddings but tickled Ruiz and Usyk?

    What a fun fight that would be!

    I'd fancy Joyce to stop wilder late on.

    Joyce vs the winner of next weekends heavyweight fight Chisora/Pulev would be a good pre cursor to a wilder or AJ fight.
