Not that the Josh Kelly and Nathan Gorman fights weren’t mismatches and are poor main events but why the **** is a four rounder and a woman’s fight on after them? Watching this 4 rounder for a second I thought I must have fallen a sleep during the undercard and just dreamt I’d seen Gorman and Kelly fight.
Wasseman need to thrownsome of their bigger names in reasonable fights Gorman vs bakole or Allen. Kelly vs Cheeseman If one of them win they have something hing to go off. Otherwise they need to sign one or two cast offs like Ohara Davies or Isaac chamberlain to try and build a stable. All fights should be at the likes of York hall and pack the place out. The empty seats is not a good look for tv viewers
Just as good their first Wasserman Boxing Channel 5 show was, just as bad has this been. A waste of time.
2230 on a Friday night someone flicks on Ch 5 and sees 2 woman fighting two 6 minute rounds in an empty arena. What an advertisment for prime time boxing.
Channel 5 won’t be happy about this. Mick had his flaws but at least the majority of main events were competitive match ups.
Wasn't the best card. They should have thought it through more. Maybe get Sam Eggington on the bill, he's always good value and entertaining.
