it was straight up trolling for Hearn to even suggest Thompson as an opponent for Price, he's already stopped him twice FFS. I think Eddie must of got the hump with Price banging on about his sparring session with Joshua. I guess that's all he has these days, stories of when he was a vastly experienced amateur/established pro who used to beat up on young, green prospects.

If he's serious about winning a world title he should aim for a fight with the Chisora Whyte winner. Both are there to be hit giving him a chance but are both durable and will take the fight to him.

 

Total agree this why wouldn't you want beat up guy who has embarrassed him twice asking for a world title shot when he has defeated no one and a quite like price but y not take on Thompson beat him badly can then he can even use excuse Thompson drugs helped him etc and he will have at very least a win over a decent name TBH Thomson total Past IT Malik Scott can beat him surely he can beat him Plus if he beats him undercard Hearn knows he could sell the fight with Joshua make it out price redemption all that crap and make another easy Ppv win for Joshua to milk public till he actually fights one of top 5 guys out ther who have a remote chance beating Joshua

Price is a joker with almost Harrison level delusion, he keeps talking Joshua but he does not want to risk his fine china chin against anybody remotely capable before a Joshua fight, he just wants a title shot PPV payday handed to him.

The thing is Thompson is about 76 years old now and Price should really batter the old man senseless but I think it's mostly mental with Price, I don't think he wants to see Thompson's face again, he is probably still having nightmares.

 

Wasn't that long ago all the bin dippers were talking about Price beating Wlad and dominating heavyweight boxing like it was a foregone conclusion lol.

 

I've heard he can't even enjoy a bowl of Frosties without having flashbacks these days.
