Who do you think (i'm talking about active fighters only here)...
is already a "living legend" , or a future "goat"...or a "name" that all boxing fans will still remember years from now ?...

Personally , so far i've got 3 of em. (and i'm also talking about fighters in their "prime")

    Mayweather
    Calzaghe
    Pacquiao

I believe that these 3 , are already living legends of the sport. (and of this era).

and there's no one else for the moment...
MAYBE , just maybe....(who ****in knows right ?) in a few years from now , the HW division will have a future ATG , a name that we'll be able to add to the list of "best HWs of all time"...

again i repeat..(just maybe)...Wlad Klitschko ?( what if he beats everybody for the rest of his career ?)

or Povetkin (already has one of the best amateur HW record in boxing history...what if the guy replicates his amateur career with the pros ? )? or not...

again all this is just speculation...
but right now...i've got Calzaghe , Mayweather and Pacquiao.
maybe i could also add Hopkins but he's not in his prime anymore...(though i don't know if it really means much concidering what he's been able to achieve at his age...nobody ages the same way...Foreman was a perfect example of this...Tyson was already finished in his 30's )..

note: some would argue and say that calzaghe is not in his "prime" anymore either..

hopkins, pbf, calzaghe, de la hoya, mosley, winky, glencoffe(why not),pacman, berrera, morales,

and a wild card in the ballot box: Augustus...now i know im gonna lose my credabillity (well i didnt have much in the first place but anyways) but i feel emanual augutus could be in the hall...reasons...has fought everybody and anybody far worse people have been inducted and the hall is for achievment and fame and augustus brings alot of cult stutus and has achieved alot...maybe a journeyman but agreat journeyman at that and i wouldnt mind celebrating it

    huh?:huh

Roy won and held titles throughout the 90's....was the fighter of the decade in the 90's and won the HW belt from Ruiz in 2002.

I'm pretty sure that qualifies as "this era". :good

De La Hoya is most definately a living ledgend.

He is by far the most popular fighter of this era.

Cotto may be on his way, not a ledgend yed
