    I watched Bramble-Mancini 2 tonite on ESPN 2.

I had forgotten he was known as "Coconut Head"
back in the eighties......because opponents hurt their
    hands hitting his hard head.

Mancini-Bramble II was a great fight.... and yes, bramble had a head of STONE. Marvin Hagler had a similar effect on his opponents.

.............All the more impressive a feat, then, for Rosario to crush him the way he did.

At the time I thought Rosario had a good chance of beating Chavez. Looking back it looks stupid....

Rosario had great power no doubt, but Bramble made it easy for him. Look back at the fight-he seemed to have no survival instincts once he was hurt, just laid against the ropes and went into a shell. Could have got up as well, but decided against it. Camacho would have easily outboxed him anyway, which was supposed to be the next fight for Bramble.

Who hit harder, maybe Duran or Shane Mosley.

..............I think Rosario hit harder than either. The main strength with both Duran and Mosely was their ability to punch rapidly and accurately in combination, but their shot-for-shot power doesn't compare with Rosario's at all.

Rosario had those short arms and they generated power, much like Marciano, different form but he cocked and locked the right hand, Duran was a Boxer/Puncher but Duran had a sneaky right and a hook to the body that would make a Mexican Jelious
