    Lloyd Honeyghan and John Conteh are well remembered as all time greats. Lloyd Honeyghan took down highly regarded undisputed World Welterweight Champion Donald Curry on Sept 27 1986 to win the title. John Conteh decisioned Jorge Ahumada of Argentina on Oct 1 1974 to win the WBC World Light Heavyweight Championship. Another great fighter to be mentioned is John H. Stracey who ended the long reign of Jose Mantequilla Napoles on Dec 6 1975, winning the WBC World Welterweight Title in Napoles hometown of Mexico by a TKO 6.
