Lloyd Marshall KO'd by Henry Flakes - Anyone know anything about this fight?

    According to boxrec, Marshall was KO'd by heavyweight Henry "Snow" Flakes on August 18, 1947 in upstate New York. Cyberboxingzone's record of Marshall does not list this fight. I searched through the NY Times' archives to find info on it, but can't find anything.

    Marshall is listed as weighing an unusually high 190 pounds for this fight (he normally weighed around 165). He weighed only 166 two months earlier for his fight with Freddie Mills and 168 a month after the fight vs. Ezzard Charles. I've always found it strange that he apparently gained and lost a whole 25 pounds in the span of a couple of months. :think

    Can anyone shed any light on this fight? Did it actually happen, and what were the details of it?
