Lloyd Marshall versus Robinson's MW competition?

    I think a 15 round fight could be his downfall at some point. He suffered from stamina problems a few times in his career. He wouldn't just run through all of them but he would beat most. He beat LaMotta fairly easily but was running out of stamina at the end of the bout. That was the last time Marshall made 160.

    Yeah, that's what made me think of it. I mean LaMotta was basically not a problem for Marshall.

    It's hard to say, at his best yes maybe, Turpin is perhaps the biggest obsticle, but could would he be able to compete at MW for 21years like Robinson? Certainly not. Would he be as consistant? I doubt it. Would he triumph over all styles? I doubt it. Would he triumph over Lamotta while giving up 17lbs? Unlikely
