Lloyd Marshall vs. Dick Tiger

    Was reading about the Ezzard Charles vs Lloyd Marshall I fight, and Marshall actually was the aggressor and pushed Charles back, who at the time was a Light Heavyweight.

    it was a really good era for middles and light heavies wasn't it ??
    in a fair world, britains freddie mills wouldn't have got near a title shot.sadly

    I think Lloyd can win a decision with his boxing skills, but probably lose by KO if he mixes it up too much with the Nigerian nightmare.

    I think that depends on how and what you look at it. The Giardello of the third Tiger fight may not have had the intensity and firepower he showed years earlier, but that was probably his most disciplined and technically best performance. His first two fights with Tiger when he was younger (and while Tiger was still a work-in-progress himself) were reportedly very close and competitive; in neither did he reportedly shut down or control Tiger as he did in their third fight.
