And Sergio won't neither if it's made at 154. He only was 173 when he fought at middleweight. He can only come in so heavy at 154 and he won't be too much bigger than DLH, which Floyd says was one of his "easiest fights" Floyd just would rather not do it because he knows Sergio won't stand in front of him like DLH did.

People in Detroit are not one sided on Floyd. They are split just like everyone else. They don't see Floyd as this "hometown" fighter. He's from Grand Rapids not Detroit which is on the other side of the state. He doesn't even claim Michigan half the time and he's never hardly in the city. We are fine with our legends from the city like Hearns and Louis.

He'd be lighter than DLH actually. Will your boy take it?

    This is all so ridiculous.

Unless you are personally biased, you just can't hold Floyd responsible for not fighting a Middleweight Champion.

Floyd is one of the smaller Welterweights, who is severely outweighed by people in his own division.

So it's okay for Floyd to fight DLH at 154 who was a middleweight champion but not Martinez at 154 who is a middleweight champion? A little bias are you? Or looking for excuses for Floyd to not fight him?

Well Floyd fought Oscar for $20 million not counting PPV revenue, which was an all time high.

Martinez doesn't bring the fanbase DLH has ... But with that being said it would be a good fight

Isn't James Toney and Michael Nun from Grand Rapids though? I have fam in the "D" and they seemed to get love last time I was out there

Yes they are. Toney does still get mad love but I was embarressed when I went out to a sports bar to watch him fight Conture in Ypsilanti and no one knew who he was or that he lived in the same city they were in. MMA crowd though. Moorer gets love too. And then there are boxers like Cintron and Forbes who regularly come through.

Even that. Sergio don't have to chase Floyd. Floyd will have to come to him. Sergio is a good mobile outside boxer for his size and he has the longer reach.
