We should be cautious. Maybe Cotto KNEW that Mosley was drunk/on the take/rubbish and tried to make him look good...

Close but clear win for Cotto in my opinion (7-5 or 7-4-1), if you disagree I'd like to see your round-by-round break down. Mosley had his moments but overall Cotto controlled the tempo of the fight and landed the cleaner punches, I don't see how anyone could have Shane winning.

Cotto won 8 rounds to Mosley 4, the only round that was close was round 9 which I gave to Cotto.

I scored the fight a draw. I scored the fight similarly to Lederman. Except I think I gave round 5 to Mosley and round 6 to Cotto and he had it the opposite way. Lederman also gave round 12 to Cotto, I gave it to Mosely(which is why had it a draw and he had it 7-5 Cotto).

I've watched the fight twice and came up with a 114-114 score each time. I haven't watched the fight in months, so I can't give you a detailed breakdown of each round. However, I thought it was a really close fight. I have no problem with Cotto getting the win though.

I have Cotto edging it out. i think he outworked Mosley, landed more cleaner shots. I believe Mosley in his prime would have beaten Cotto. In this fight, he appeared to fight too much in spurts.

I disagree. I see Margarito and Williams beating the Mosley of 2008. I see Cintron giving him some problems as well. Clottey would also give him problems.

If Cotto blows out Margarito I'll change my opinion. Not until then.

Reggie just stop your bugging, Cotto won rounds 4 through 8 clearly with 9 being debatable but I remember you commenting in my thread regarding this fight and just like all others who scored the fight a draw or for Mosley could'nt give a scorecard which is typical.

i agree a bit thats why i didn't mention williams and clottey, i think they have what it takes to beat mosley. Margarito perhaps but i still favor mosley, cintron i don't know he hasn't beated anyone of note(elite level). I think he'll give mosley problems though but i can see a KO by mosley

Benny, I know what I saw. I already told you, my scorecard was very similar to Lederman's. I have no reason to just make up who I thought won. It was a close fight, and I scored it a draw. Many people scored it a draw. Lederman scored it 115-113 and he gave the 12th to Cotto. Merchant also scored it a draw. I'll you what, I'll watch the fight again and give a round by round.

i agree when floyd threw his jab oscar was stagnant and didnt throw just stood still in front of floyd it was floyd upping the pace and his counters that made oscar neglect his jab...if you score the rounds as a whole three minutes rather than just the 10 second flurries oscar threw you come up with 8-4 or 9-3...not close at all...this oscar abandoned his jab theory is myth
