HATTON TO TAKE ON KHAN/BARRERA WINNER All seemed lost for The Hitman when his showdown with P4P #1 Manny Pacquiao fell through, but he found some consulation with another potential blockbuster summer fight that would see him return to the UK for the first time since his win over Juan Lazcano last year. The potential fight could see Hatton once again do business with his former promoter, but his father Ray doesn't believe that this will be a problem. "Once the money is on the table, we're open to it. Khan is one of the best pound for pound British fighters out there and it would be a classic derby, Manchester against Bolton. Ricky is really keen to return to the M.E.N and repay all those fans who have been loyal to him throughout the years, and have waited since the Tszyu fight for us to bring home another fight of that magnitude, this would be a spectacle to rival that." On Barrera. "Yeah, that would be huge. It wasn't long ago that he went 12 hard rounds against Pacquiao... I actually had him winning on my card. You don't get more world class than Barerra, and in my honest opinion, that would actually be a bigger fight for Ricky at this stage of his career. He has handled lightweight with ease, and I feel he'd make the step up to 140 just as easily." We'll keep you up to date with the latest on this breaking news story.
HMMM LINK PLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Utter bull****! 1, Khan said he was blind and scored it Marco NOT RAY 2, Hatton will never, ever fight Barrera they are too close. 3, Hatton wants big fights not a guy who has not won a European title. Are you a Pac-Nut?
^^^ I agree You don't get more world class than Barerra, and in my honest opinion, that would actually be a bigger fight for Ricky at this stage of his career. If you are going to try and write something thats supposed to have been written by a journalist you should at least put it through a spell checker before you post it.
anybody that had Barrera beating Pacquiao in the rematch is ******ed. Yes, Marco was able to go the distance and avoid getting destroyed like he did in the first fight, but Marco was fighting that rematch to survive until the decision, not to win. It's much harder to KO a guy just trying not to get knocked out than it is a guy that wants to win and is trying to do so.
