LMAO is it true that HBO is refusing to show Wlad's next fight against Chambers??

    glad to see that HBO is smartening up with their money. wlad is talented for sure, but the guy takes no risks whatsoever.

    even against absolute nobodies like ibragimov and thompson wlad fought totally cautiously. until wlad faces haye or begins to adopt a more fan friendly style, i like this HBO boycott of wlad.

    we have to give HBO credit for sure. they want to bring more fans to boxing... and watching 12 rounds of wlad jab jab and clinch isn't winning ANYONE over. :lol:

    I think HBO and Wlad pretty much know how that they don't need one another all the time. Wlad can fight in Europe and be successful and HBO can save money paying for a fight that doesn't do great ratings wise.

    Goes to show how little Americans actually care about their own heavyweights.

    Chambers just came off a great win against Dimitrenko, and he gets rewarded like this.

    You shouldnt talk about not taking risks, when your own favorite heavyweight David Haye ran a marathon race in his last fight. A perfectly executed plan, with NOT TAKING ANY RISKS. See a pattern here?

    uhhh... too bad the guy haye was facing outweighed him by 100+ pounds. wlad routinely outweighs his opponents by a wide margin. different set of circumstances.

    Thats a bit of a shame, Chambers is the best American HW around at the moment, well him and Chris.

    Chambers' win wasn't even shown in America unless I'm mistaken. It might as well not even happened to the casual fans.

    Considering he's made $20m+ since his loss to Brewster and a new found defense-first mindset, I would say he's probably not wasting any tears for a simpleton like you.

    Good move by HBO. Doubtful any new fans would be made as a result of paying to broadcast this bout.

    Their budget was reduced, apparently, so I think they're going to have to tighten up pretty substantially this year.

    He doesnt do good numbers against Americans on american networks, tells you heavyweight boxing and boxing overall is pretty much dead over there.

    Wladimir fills out 60k arenas and makes $10m+ every fight fighting over here. He doesnt cry about USA :lol:
