If PPV generates 1 million buys, and produces 60 million...half is going to PPV distributors right off top, which makes the most he could get 30 million....minus opponents cut, minus what he has to pay Arum, minus what Arum has fronted him + interest I'm sure, minus what he has to pay Roach/Ariza/Buboy and rest of his camp, minus taxes...due ain't making ****, it's sad really.

Also I don't believe he gets that much from PPV, because like Reppin said, the total of the PPV gets split off the bat 50/50 with the cable companies and distributors, the rest goes to pay for the event, promotion, other fighter, and Top Rank. From the Top Rank portion is where Manny gets his PPV % and you know Top Rank is gonna keep enough to fatten their belly.

Manny is getting cheated. There is a reason Floyd and Oscar both left Top Rank and were able to successfully sue Arum for stealing from them.

 

If this is paperwork this would be fraud because Pac should disclose his purse and fees paid to the alphabet soup and NSAC is based on this information.He's not allowed to misrepresent facts.

I've been over this before. The figures written a Nevada contract are not necessarily the real number for big PPV guys. They get most of their money off PPV generally. So if Manny's "official" purse is $8 million fine. But he is guaranteed in his contract with Top Rank (which is not something the commission would have or release if if did) something like $20 million or whatever. The money is the money. One of the reasons for the disaprity is because Manny is not a US citizen and is often paid a large amount of his money through his Filipino promotional company and deals in the Philippines for things like the television revenue there. So while it looks like a big difference it is not in reality. So folks can keep on drinking the kool aid. But they dont get how the business actually works when it comes to fighters from overseas. I once covered a world title fight in Vegas with a champion from South Africa in say about 2002. His Nevada contract for a world title fight said his official purse was like $1,000. But he was making more like $50,000 because of the TV money from South Africa. You can do anything with numbers. What is written on the Nevada paper for big time fights isn't worth the paper it is written on.
