That's the flat amount they will have to declare to NEVADA. The guaranteed purse on the other hand is between MP and Arum.

Simply put the guaranteed amount is not what they declare on NEVADA.

But of course Floyd fan boy will twist this to fit their agenda. That's given.

Tell me....if you get a base of 6 million, but get to take home the majority of ppv revenue, are you really taking home 6 million? BTW, this is a rhetorical question....don't respond. If you dunno the answer your either stupid, or worse.... a *****tard.

No one is disputing that but when your chief rival is getting base purses of 32 mill and a big chunk of PPV as well, doesn't that look bad on Arum?

Because Arum and Michael Koncz told him to. The reason they did that is because Vision Quest was demanding Top Rank and others turn over information.

Are we really at a point where we laugh at someone for making "only" $6 million?

Oh yeah, Floyd makes more. Who cares? He's still making serious money.

Here's how a guarantee works.....it's like insurance. Getting 32 mil guaranteed means in case the event fails to generate a profit the fighter still gets at minimum 32 mil. The promoter "guaranteeing" the boxer his purse. That's all it is. It's all for show really being this is Pacquiao and Floyd, and their fights are essentially no-risk type of ventures.

Just look at the ticket and PPV prices in PACs and FLOYDs fight. It's just the same and they generate the same amount of money so how in the world would PACs team allow Arum to receive more than them.

You know it really? Then how come you guys get stuck on base purse, like it actually determines splits? You got CITH aka Sds wacko going on and on about take home purse....like it really affects the bottom line. The real money is in revenue sharing....and thats where both Floyd and Manny gets the chunk of their money. Basically Pac doesn't need a huge guarantee because he doesn't need the "insurance"...he is confident knowing his fights will be a success and that'll he will get his money in due time.
