LMAO--- people rip the hell out of Wlad when he unifies the belts and blows out his opponent. Sorry he didn't knock him out in exciting fashion, but seriously people calm down he still won very decisively
I think most of us know Wlad can be more effective, active and dominant than that. That's where most of the frustration comes from. Of course there are the haters too.
Indeed, he did his job. Maybe he let Ibragimov survive on purpose, I don't know, I don't care. He won, there is no question. I want a HW champ that wins. Excitement is nice, but not as important. Hopkins was never particularly exciting, but he was a winner (and still is for that matter). Besides, Klitchsko may not have done much, but he did completely a rival belt holder, another HW champion, albeit an alphabet soup champ. Few other heavyweights out there can do that. Kitchsko will move on slowly and methodically and will beat several other good HWs and then retire. I will consider him, historically, as a very good (but not great) heavyweight champ.
Wlad didn't blow out Iggy or win decisively. He embarrassed himself by boxing horribly but so did Iggy! He fought cautiously, carefully and seemed afraid to get hit and throw the right hand. Both Klit and Ibragimov have lost a lot of respect after tonight's performance. But especially Klitschko because so much more was expected of him!
it was a boring fight. wladimir had it in control but boxed caustiously sultan fought more to survive and not to win. it was always going to be something like this, you only had to watch the holyfield fight to see that. as usual esb threads go over the top one way or the other to the extreme. brilliant or a bum.
