I've never suggested a fighter retires just from losses, losses is part of the sport and is to be expected. I suggest for Cotto to retire cos he himself said he had 2-3 fights left when he called Roach and he himself obviously fears the end is near. He's been through a lot of wars, accomplished everything he needed to, had his opportunity with the 2 best and came up short both times and after he takes the MW title from Martinez, nothing left to prove. He could fight Canelo as that would be fun to watch but other than that, I can't see any interesting fights for him.
