Lesnar may beat Overeem, but he wouldn't "destroy" him. AO is much better than Mir and much more dangerous than an old Couture.

Overeem hasnt done anything to warrant a shot at Fedor. Overeem has like 11 losses on his record with most of those coming at LHW. Monson is a good fighter, I like Monson but hes failed at the highest level. So yes, they may have more MMA experience, doesnt make them better fighters. Lesnar would wipe through both of them with ease. If Fedor is content on fighting guys like Overeem and Monson than he should lose his #1 rank as far as im concerned or just retire.
Absolutely astounding logic. Overeem's ledger is literally a who's who in this sport. You then wander over to Sherdog to find out who he is and the best you can do to discredit him is to highlight his losses Overeem has more losses than Lesnar has had fights but Lesnar is the credible because he's in the UFC? Honestly i dont why you post on here. And Monson is a Jujitsu stud. He's won the ADCC twice and is one of the best grapplers in the world but hey he's not in the UFC anymore so he doesnt qualify.. What do you mean explain it? The two of them fought and Monson was beaten on his feet by "the" superior striker because Sylvia stuffed his takedown attempts with a good sprawl. Let me guess Lesnar going to learn a takedown defense/sprawl stuff all of Monsons takedowns and batter him on his feet right?
Are you serious? So Sylvia can stuff Monsons takedowns but a all-american wrestler and far better athlete cant? And as bad as Lesnar is on the feet, Monson is 10x worse. Its not a close fight man. Lesnar beats him by whatever he wants. I cannot even fathom that there are people in this world that think this is a competitive fight. The only people who would believe this would be competitive is Jeff Monson, his parents and now apparently scurlaruntings.
You need to read my posts, i'm far from a UFC nuthugger. But im a realist. Im not stupid enough to think that some robotic striker could beat Lesnar. Lesnar would takedown Overeem within seconds and Overeem would be lucky to make it past the 1st round. Lesnar is the credible one because hes beaten legit HW's in impressive fashion. Overeem would be lucky to beat any of those guys Lesnar beat in the UFC. I wouldnt be surprised if he lost to all 3 of them. Overeem is too busy losing to LHW's and beating up the Paul Buentellos of the world. You know who has more fights than Overeem? Travis Fulton. UFC should give him a call, hes got alot of experience.
So let me see Lesnar sprawl is a good at Syliva's? Matter of fact how many times have you ever seen Brock sprawl? Ever seen Lesnar's takedown defence? Yeah me neither. You bandwagoners are the pits. Honestly i dont know why i bother with you. Have you even seen Overeem fight? Calling Overeem robotic is like saying CC is a **** striker. You're just talking ass now. And incase you hadnt notice Buentello is a legit striker with VERY heavy hands. He was in the UFC for a short while and beat the deceased ****** Eliers. He's certainly NOT an opponent to just write off as you do. Furthermore seeing as your not Mr current affairs Overeem is a heavyweight and has been for the past 2 years or so. I take it you never saw his win over Mark Hunt? But hey Hunts a nobody because a 47 year old blown up light heavy is, along with Mir who was deemed as shot after loosing badly to Cruz and Vera (and most have already forgotten his win over Brock) and Heath Herring who's best days were well over a decade ago. I mean seriously Herring im pretty sure has more losses on his record than Overeem but hey Herring is more credible right despite being PRIDE's favoruite whipping boy for the big guns like Fedor CC Big Nog etc..
Monson fought cans in boxing. And yes, a collegiate all-american wrestler would have a better sprawl, better takedown defence than Sylvia. Is that a serious question. We havent seen much of Brocks takedown defense because hes the guy putting people on their back. Lesnar has the power, reach and wrestling ability to keep it on the feet. On the feet he'd kill Monson and on the ground he'd do the same. Overeem and Lesnar would be just as bad if not worse. Lesnar takes him down and mauls him. Im writing off two highly experienced veterans because they arent that GOOD. Overeem with all that experience doesnt have the quality wins at HW that Lesnar has. Thats a FACT.
Overeem will get mauled by Lesnar..its not even up for debate Why? Rogerio made that ***** quit and Lesnar is certainly more dangerous than Rogerio on his feet (as bad as Lesnars striking is) I can actually see Brock picking up Overeeem and throwing him out of the ****in cage into the crowd..its going to be a joke of a fight. Note: If you cant stand Lesnar dont give him Overeem because it will only artificially inflate his already "suspect" record. As for Monson, after his performance against Sylvia, where he couldnt do ****, ****, nill, zero. I mean was I watching the wrong fight. I was like screaming, do something!!! 1 thing cmon Monson, do something to this overrated slab of meat that is Sylvia. Monson managed to do ****!.. ZERO!! That performance alone should enable us to look past Monsons grappling accomplishments because frankly he was worse than ****. In other words, Monson shouldnt even be mentioned as Brocks contender. Now back to Reality... Id like to see Gonzaga against Brock just because of that heavy kicks of his. Although I dont fancy his chances. Fedor definitely can put a lid on Brock Id honestly rather see Rogers or Lashley against Brock..at least make it interesting
