If Margarito is proven to have had an illegal wrap on his fist or even in the vicinity surely that is proof enough that they intended to use it, if they had not been caught. If your caught carrying a weapon on the street knuckle duster, knife it's a similair situation. If it's proven to be a crock of **** by Nazeem then that is equally a disgrace to accuse a fighter of something so low and there should be some serious public apology to Margarito by many people. I hope it turns out to be a heat of the moment misunderstanding, because it's bad for the sport and the Cotto-Margarito match would become null and void in my eyes
If hes found guilty, ban him for life and have the Los Angelos D.A charge him with assault with a deadly weapon.
you can't charge someone for assault with a deadly weapon when the weapon was removed before the fight.

no attempted assault would be if mosley didnt get hit once....while margo had the plaster on his hands he was caught with a weapon is the charge...like walking about with a knife...the charge is a fine at most
